-To make this webpage your Starting page or homepage with PlanetQuake's news in the right frame and GDI in the left frame, follow this link:
then go to Internet Options in Internet Explorer and click "Use Current", to set this page (start.htm) as your Start page. By the way, I have heard that this page doesn't always display properly in Netscape, so I would recommend using Internet Explorer 4.01 w/SP1.
-Anyways, back to some clan news. I have put 2 new forms up on the Recruits and Challenge pages. These will allow people to EASILY set up matches as well as tryouts.

-Sorry about the lack of updates, but I been real busy.
-I was just in an IRC chat with Pointless Audio and we pulled a huge prank. Immortal decided that we should all raid Planetquake's staff room and spam 'em with "Pointless Audio OWNS!!!!", so we did...I put a screenshot of it on this temp page of ours.
-I swear Ill start to update more...but I got some unfortunate news for u guys...Tell ya'll later

-Updated the battles page with a new pic of CTF. Looks quite good.
-Updated the entrance with a Java pop-up window...If anyone has had problems with this box, please EMail me about it and what happened.
-PhantomRun, our clan leader, is going to be attending a LAN party in Toronto called Aftershock...I'll post the URL when I find out what it is :). PhantomRun will also be attending the LAN tourney with our own Serpentor. We wish these guys good luck...and if Scar45 wasn't working and didn't have a crappy ass Compaq which is fussy about new hardware, he'd attend the tourney too, see as how u gotta bring yo' own 'puter with ya.
-Oh yeah, hehehe, Serpentor knows Christian Ankow's (one of the Quake2 developers) sister! What a Mack-Ass-Mo-Fo!!

-I just got back from a 90 minute SiN Deathmatch which I won. Pictures on the new SiN page. This game is damn wicked. It is so, because it is based off a modified Quake2 engine. Alleluia, the makers of SiN actually chose the right engine instead of the retards at Duke Nukem Forever and their choice of the Unreal engine. Everyone must get this game when it comes out. GRRRRREEEAT!
-ClanGDI would like to welcome yet another new member: Serpentor. This guy challenged our leader, PhantomRun, and actually almost beat him. He will clearly be a great asset to this clan. Welcome brotha!
-I am learning to mouse look finally. Please don't laugh when u play against or with me, because I am learning but I must say, after playing 90 minutes of SiN, I have greatly improved. If u are still keyboarding, get on the mouse now baby, you'll be much better. Trust Scar45...trust him...he's right.
-We also have a match coming up against Clan DS soon. More details will be posted as soon as we find out what the hell is going on.

-Well, ClanGDI would like to welcome back one of its initial members: Dominion2. He is back and better and badder than ever. Welcome back brotha!
-I have learned to mouse look. One of the greatest assets a Quake player could ever have. I can't believe I waited this long!
-The SiN Demo came out over at Ritualistic's Website. Damn, this is one amazing game, considering it uses a modified Quake2 ENGINE. Think of it as a more social or everyday life Quake (banks, robbers, not machines/robots). Although the demo is a hefty 33MB, its well worth it. Hell, I got a 33.6KBps and I went for it.

-ClanGDI recently had a match against Clan ColdFyre and well, we came close, but no cigar. These guys however, like to brag, and I thought I'd give y'all the link so you can go check out their webmaster's lack of HTML knowledge. We don't really have any lamers, but these guys come close. -Not much new news, but if you look in the top-right corner of the page, I have added a new graphic which will tell when me and PhantomRun are Online/Offline. It's from ICQ and if for some reason you don't have ICQ, go get it at ICQ.com

-In case you haven't noticed, the clan has undergone huge renovations, or changes...Me and PhantomRun were playing in a clan match (we won had no help from our own "members") and we had a revelation. Since I do ALL of the work on this page, and PhantomRun is our strongest Quake player, we have decided to clear everyone and start over. If there are former GDI members who wish to stay in the clan, they must tryout again. If there are others, they are welcome too. Now granted we aren't super strict with our policies, but a clan is a clan and we must stick together and support each other by playing together. Hell, I haven't even played with anyone other than Dominion2 and Stalker, and Stalker left the clan a while ago...I don't know the other guys that were my "Clan Partners". So, if you wish to tryout, drop me a message via ICQ and tell me. I'll put you on the list. I have spent a hell of a lot of time and nerves on this page, and i'm not about to let it, and the clan go down the shitter.

-Clan Members pay attention!! ClanGDI has scheduled a match with Clan Minions from Hell on Sunday, July 28, 1998 at 8:00pm on RAVENS T1 RA2 SERVER. Be there or be cubed.
-ICQ numbers will be placed on a new contact page for all aspiring ClanGDI hopefuls.

-Even more new website features have been added tonight after I played a little bit of Deathmatch, including new pictures for the members' fave weapons and other little stuff...this isn't the end though, more's comin...keep checkin' back :)
-Voodoo2 Drivers are up to GLide 2.53 and 3.0b included in 3Dfx's Voodoo2 Reference Drivers.
-iMMoRTaL over at Pointless Audio has Show 22 up. I must say he just keeps getting better and better.
-I will post the new clan skin soon...for all of those who are curious, its the snowcamper skin from Action Quake2.
-There will start to be more clan matches and practices soon, so everyone in the clan had better shape up or ship out!

-It has been revealed to me that the VQF Digital Music format rocks. Files are smaller than MP3's and are often of higher quality. Go get the player at Yamaha's Website.
-The new Windows98/95 Media Player 5 has been released in its FINAL version. It offers web streaming similar to RealPlayer. You know where you can find it.
-We need battles boys! Cmon and EMail us to set up some tourneys. We'll play Action Quake, CTF, Rocket Arena, Freeze Tag, you name it! See if you can beat the Clan at their own game!
-Updated the look of the page a bit...thought it gives it a more contemporary look.

-New Drivers have been released for Creative's Voodoo2 over at their website .
-New Voodoo2 Reference Drivers have also been released on 3Dfx's website.
-Wow, a day of patches and updates! The new Final Fantasy VII Voodoo Rush patch has been added to Eidos' Support pages.
-Although this will not be a largely desired download, Matrox has released new Unified OS/2 Drivers for their graphics cards.

-iMMoRTaL over at Pointless Audio has Show18 up. If u are unaware, iMMoRTaL is a common Quake player who has his own RealAudio show which kicks a$$. Go visit him at Pointless Audio's homepage.
-A new Mod called Generations is due to come out in 16 days...It's a mod which brings back the Doom Marine and the original Quake guy into Quake 2 where you can use the old weapons and H.U.D.'s. Looks damn good.
-Final Fantasy VII for the PC with Voodoo2 graphics continues to amaze me.
